Putting the house together
You are viewing the imperial (feet, inches) version of this plan, original measurements have been converted to feet and inches with 1/32'' precision. See also Chicken coop plans: Metric (millimetres/centimetres).
Use the pieces you created in the previous step to build the beginning of the frame for your chicken coop. Refer to Figure 3.1.
You will need five 20 3/32'' lengths to attach the two sides of the house frame together. One of these lengths goes on its edge at the apex of the roof, so that the edges line up with the slope of the roof. Click on the diagram for a closer view.
The floor supports in Figure 3.1 are made from dressed 1'' by 2'' timber and are positioned to give extra support where it will be needed most.
