Ingredients

  • 300g beef
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • 1 Tbsp mixed herbs
  • ½ C water
  • ¼ C tomato paste or sauce
  • 1 Tbsp corn flour

Method

Saute onion and garlic in oil. Cut and cube the beef. Toss the meat in the spices and herbs, then brown in the pan. Once the meat is cooked add the remaining leftover spices and herbs, along with the sauce into the pan. Mix the corn flour in the water and pour into the pan. Cook on medium heat until liquid starts to thicken. Serve with rice and your favorite condiments.
