Ingredients

  • Medium sized potato, cooked and cubed
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 ½ tsp ginger, minced
  • 2 ½ tsp garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin, ground
  • ½ tsp tumeric, ground
  • 1 ½ tsp coriander, ground
  • ¼ tsp black pepper, ground
  • 3 medium tomatoes, chopped or 2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 3 cups frozen peas

Method

Pre-cook the medium sized potato in the microwave on high, until soft when pricked with a fork. Preheat the oven to Bake 200° C

In a medium sized saucepan, heat the water. Add and saute the ginger root, garlic, onion and salt. When the onions are brown add the cumin, tumeric, corainder, and pepper.

Now add the tomatoes, cooked potato, and peas to the saucepan. Simmer and stir for 5 minutes or until the frozen peas are tender.

Now place spoonfuls of the mixture into the middle of the dough rounds and fold the sides toward the middle, pinching the tops to close.

Bake at 200° C for approximately 20-30 minutes, or until cooked.
