Ingredients

  • 1 ½ - 2 pastry sheets
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups mixed frozen vegetables (or vegetables of your choice: chopped carrot, spinach, broccoli, corn, etc.)
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped (optional)
  • oil
  • liquid (water, milk, soymilk)
  • 2 cups grated cheese

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C

Line the bottom and sides of a x inch dish with pastry sheets, ensuring all gaps are sealed by pinching any joins together with your fingers.

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients, followed by the eggs, liquid and all other remaining ingredients. Pour this mixture into the pastry lined dish.

Cook for 30 minutes or until golden and when pricked with a skewer comes out clean.
