Ingredients

  • 2 Tblsp butter
  • 2 Tblsp flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 2 tsps chicken stock powder
  • 185g can tuna
  • Vegetables e.g. frozen peas/corn/carrot
  • 3 – 4 medium potatoes cooked and mashed

Method

Melt butter, add flour, cook 1 – 2 minutes without browning.

Gradually add milk, stirring until the sauce boils (I do all this in the microwave).

Add stock, tuna and vegetables.  Season with freshly ground black pepper.

Place in casserole dish, top with mashed potato and bake at 180C for
20 – 30 mins until heated through.
