- ¼ cup dairy free margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 cup lactose-free milk or water
- 1 cup grated apple
- 1 ¼ cups wholemeal flour
- 1 ¼ tsps baking powder
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tblsp sugar
In a large bowl combine margarine, egg, liquid and apple.
In a separate bowl mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and sugar.
Stir flour mixture into apple mixture just until combined.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over a medium heat.
Pour the batter, brown on both sides and serve hot.
