Ingredients

  • Chilli con carne mixture
  • 1 pack of flat bread (roti/naan/tortillas, etc)
  • 2 c cheese, grated
  • 250g cottage cheese
  • a little oil for brushing

Method

Mix together 1/2 c grated cheese with the cottage cheese in a bowl and set aside.

Lightly grease a round casserole dish with oil. Layer one tortilla or roti on the bottom of the dish and spread some of the Chilli con carne mixture evenly over this. Sprinkle some cheese on top. Repeat this layering until you have filled the 3/4's of the way to the top. For the last layer spread the cottage cheese mix evenly on top of the tortilla/roti. Top with another tortilla/roti and brush with oil. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees celsius for 20 minutes.
